Nested sampling, the return (2)

Following our revision of the paper, documented in an earlier blog, we received an extensive and highly critical email from John Skilling. While this email unfortunately cannot be reproduced here (unfortunately, because an email that starts with ‘I am a seeker of truth and I speak the truth” is obviously entertaining!), I can point here at two sets of comments related to the paper (albeit to the first version) and attached to John Skilling’s email. One provides an alternative perspective on some convergence results contained in the paper, in Skilling’s highly syncratic style. The second file contains a test of our examples in the earlier version of the paper that explain why they are all wrong…
