Un saggio dopo Rimini (due)

As announced in the previous post about the econometrics conference in Rimini last summer, I have edited my earlier version following editorial comments by Gael Martin and the submission of the (mildly) adversarial piece by Russell Davidson. The changes in the new version are not major, far from it, but the paper reads better (with much shorter sentences) and I try at least to answer some of the questions asked by Russell.
