15 most popular e-books?!

I received an emailed add about “free access” to e-books via my university deal with Springer and I checked on the books that were offered, hitting a page with the 15 Most Popular eBooks in Mathematics & Statistics. While some books in the list are clearly best-sellers, take e.g. Tibshirani et al.’s Elements of Statistical Learning, I am a wee suspicious that others were included to boost the sales, given that a book like the Concise Encyclopedia of Statistics ranks 2 millions on Amazon… However, I may be wrong in that it could well be that those “free access” e-books are heavily downloaded by readers with no intent to buy them… This could be for instance the case for an encyclopedia.
