To València

Yesterday, I flew to València to take part in Anabel Forte’s thesis defence, her thesis being on Objective Bayes criteria for variable selection and involving hyper-g priors. 1. Your picture of the river from the plane is very cool. I think I see a person/alien with a super long tongue coming out of his mouth. I recently flew to Colorado to present my thesis to the department and noticed many winding rivers like this. I thought it interesting at how much the landscape changed for areas near the river. I assume this was from occasional flooding.
