Buitres en el cerro de San Pedro

Yesterday evening, Javier took me for a walk up the Cerro de San Pedro. The weather was very nice and we arrived at the top before sunset, rewarded by a wonderful view of Madrid in the South and El Yelmo de La Pedriza in the North, where he took me during my previous visit. In addition to the views, we were lucky enough to see a group of vultures settling in for the night on a nearby outcrop. (They are common enough to have a nearby peak named after them, Torrés de los Buitres.) A great evening walk, just 45mn away from Puerta del Sol by train.
