Pentatomidae nymph, perhaps? Looks like the third instar of Nezera viridula which I see frequently here in the USA. If so, the adults are green, and all life stages will happily eat your garden.

Thanks! I often see the Nezera viridula adults on my raspberry bushes, sometimes turning brown, but I had never seen a earlier stage of the insect.
