Unfortunately, among them there are also reasons for the Italian disaster: it is becoming more and more clear that, at the beginning, many Italians showing symptoms were not tested, against all national and international guidelines, because they did not have any contact with Chinese people, as if only Chinese people could have the virus, and many were sent back to nursing homes, spreading the virus to families, hospitals and nursing homes; sometimes they were not tested only because medical staff didn’t want to be qarantined because of a case.

A common feature of this crisis is the lack of learning from previous cases and places, in favour of local and usually misinformed procedures, adopted too late. Stay safe!
