A final reminder (?) that we hold a special day of five talks around stochastic algorithms at Dauphine this Friday, from 10:00 till 17:30. Attendance is free, coffee and tea are free (while they last!), come and join us!

While in India, I took the opportunity to buy Darjeeling tea in large quantities (15 boxes!) as teas from a wide variety of gardens and types were available, including my favourite, Muscatel. Some of which are for family and friends. We also drove through huge tea gardens on our way back to Bagdogra airport, with new buds already growing on the tea bushes. (The pictures below are taken from the Long View tea estate.)

Shui Xian tea (what else?!)

teabox, Maison des trois thés, ParisOne of my graduate students gave me this very smoky Chinese tea called Shin Xian, which sounds like a misspelled Shui Xian, an Oolong tea that I enjoy very much. And which helps me nursing my cold!
