Expect pictures in the following posts if I manage to stand the heat and humidity!

temple road in Deo Bagh, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, Jan. 4, 2012During our trip, we visited the city of Gwalior, in Madhya Pradesh, another historically rich place that seems off the major touristic routes. All the better for enjoying it by walking around the ramparts of Gwalior Fort in the old city. Thanks to Gautami Shah, who superbly organised the whole trip, we ended up in a 17th century “bagh”, called Deo Bagh, run by a chain that specialises into heritage hotels set in historical places. A terrific opportunity, truly, and also the possibility to go running in the (chilly and misty) early morning.
