JCGS special issue on Advances in Markov Chain Monte Carlo appeared

The special issue of JCGS we edited with Mark Girolami out of our ICMS meeting in Edinburgh last year has just appeared. As issue 22(3). It contains mostly papers related to the talks presented there, plus a few extra papers in the regular issue. And the issue is dedicated to the memory of George Casella. On top of this, (the former editor) Rich Levine was kind enough to agree to have one of my own pictures of Edinburgh (taken during Bayes 250) to appear on the cover of this issue! This is getting into a tradition since the earlier meeting we organised at ICMS with Kerrie Mengersen and Mike Titterington on the topic of mixtures led to an edited book with another of my photographs on the front cover…
