I saw a stunning example of Condorcet’s paradox in a poll a few days ago:
– a majority of British voters prefer Remaining in the EU rather than May’s deal (56-44%)
– a majority prefer May’s deal to No deal (58-42%)
– a majority prefer No deal to Remaining in the EU (52-48%)!

The same applies to the YouGov poll. If given a binary choice, Remain and Deal are neck & neck. Which makes YouGov recommending a Condorcet vote in the case of a referendum. Referendum that suddenly sounds less impossible than a few days ago.
