Ordinary and pre-ordinary meetings at the RSS

As announced six weeks ago, tomorrow, the discussion paper by Christophe Andrieu, Arnaud Doucet and Roman Holenstein Particle Markov chain Monte Carlo will be read at 5pm at the Royal Statistical Society, Errol Street, London. As for earlier papers, there is a pre-ordinary meeting run by the Young Statisticians section at 3pm that introduces the paper within the area and prepares the audience for the main “ordinary” talk. Anyone interested (present or not at the meeting) can send a 400 word discussion on the paper to the journal within two weeks. (I hope to have something ready for tomorrow’s discussion!)
